In order to solve mine  “ under-three ” large amount of pressed coal, through the adoption of continuous mining machine to mine  “ under-three ” pressed coal, on the basis of introducing the continuous miner and corollary equipment, continuous miner short wall mining process, according to Sitai Mine eastern wing the coal pressure region irregular distribution characteristics, continuous miner  conveyor equipment and mining technology were adopted to mine the coal resources, according to the characteristics of the corollary equipment and mining technology and mining geological conditions, mining roadway arrangement was optimized, which determined the main stope face equipment for the continuous miner, shuttle car anchor machine, crusher, four arm roof bolter, the application in Sitai Mine eastern wing showed roadway advancement achieved 1 000 m with 4.5 t coal every month, the recovery rate was 35% ~ 45%.
