Based on geological conditions of north wing of Qiyi Xinfa Mining Industry exclusive return airway, in order to prevent the bottom heave, mechanism of bolt supporting in coal roadway was studied, under the condition of lower floor rock strength and fragile roof rock, high strength bolt anchor combined support system was designed, the design of the anchor rod and anchor rope support ideas were mainly introduced, the support effect was monitored. The engineering practice showed that anchor rod anchor combined support could effectively control the deformation of the surrounding rock and maintain the integrity of the roof.
