Abstract Based on strata damage theory, method of coal mining, mine water fall, mining upper limit improvement present situation and development trend in China was expounded, the traditional single method had water flowing fractured zone height error, the integrated use of water fracture zones judgment method, computer science and technology and high performance monitoring technology, and filling mining method were mining upper limit improvement trend,which was of important practical significance to improve the mining limit, increase the recovery rate of coal resources for mines under special geological condition.
