Abstract The catalyst of ZSM-5 molecular sieve which was made by dipping method, had a good activity and selectivity. Through the experiments,the obtained appropriate conditions of preparing the catalyst were that ZSM-5 molecular sieves in 2.5 mol/L KCl solution was dipped 30 h under normal temperature,then was dried at 500 ℃.The suitable synthetic process conditions were that reaction temperature was 340 ℃, feeding speed was 4.5( kg·h-1) / kg and the ratio of n(MEA) and n(NH3) was 1∶0.5. In this process conditions,the conversion rate of ethanolamine was 48.86%,the yield of piperazine was 14.21%.
