Abstract In order to solve the dual problems of wall stability control and spontaneous combustion prevention and control in gob-side entry retaining with flexible formwork concrete, this paper proposes an integrated technology of optical fiber sensing and precise fire prevention and control. The embedded process of acid and alkali resistant fiber grating sensor is optimized, the special fixed support is developed, the multi-dimensional monitoring network is constructed, the random forest algorithm analysis model is developed, and the three-dimensional fire prevention and extinguishing system is built in combination with the sealing characteristics of flexible wall, so as to form a data-driven dynamic control mode. The industrial test was carried out with the working face of Ningtiaota Mine of Shaanxi Coal Group as the carrier. The results showed that the accuracy of wall deformation early warning was 92%, the maximum temperature of goaf was stable at 28 °C, the wall repair rate was reduced to 5%, and the safety cost per ton of coal was reduced by 12 yuan, which effectively realized the precise prevention and control of roadway disaster and provided technical support for coal mine without coal pillar mining.
