Abstract The overall gangue content of raw coal in Wanfeng Coal Mine is about 50%, and the content of +25 mm gangue is more than 30%. In order to reduce the content of raw coal gangue in Wanfeng Coal Mine and reduce the production cost, operation cost and gangue discharge cost for subsequent coal washing production, the technical transformation of the original screening workshop was studied and formulated, and the scheme of using TDS intelligent dry separation system to treat +25 mm Wanfeng raw coal was studied. After trial operation, the use results achieved the purpose of pre-discharge of gangue, realized the optimization of the whole raw coal processing process, reduced the invalid transportation cost and gangue discharge cost, reduced the staffing of hand picking gangue, and reduced the amount of washing and wear of the production system, and achieved ideal economic and social benefits.
