| Numerical simulation of explosion-proof wall stress under the impact of coal mine gas explosion |

Abstract As one of the serious coal mine safety production accidents, gas explosion will cause serious casualties once it occurs, and the explosion-proof wall can effectively resist the impact of gas explosion. Therefore, this paper studies the protective performance of the explosion-proof wall under the impact of coal mine gas explosion by numerical method. The correctness of the model is verified by comparing with the existing research. Then, the influence of radian on the performance of explosion-proof wall is systematically discussed, and the difference between traditional straight wall and arc-shaped explosion-proof wall is compared. The results show that compared with the traditional straight wall, the pressure behind the arc explosion-proof wall is smaller, and the weakening effect on the explosion shock wave is more significant. The response time of the explosion shock and the peak value of the horizontal pressure caused by the explosion are proportional to the horizontal distance of the measuring point behind the wall, and inversely proportional to the pressure decay rate. Compared with the horizontal pressure, the vertical pressure peak is larger, and the difference between the measuring points is more obvious. In the pressure curve of the 60°central angle condition, the peak pressure attenuation is obvious, and the pressure behind the whole wall is small. Therefore, the arc explosion-proof wall with a central angle of 60° has a better explosion shock wave reduction effect.
