Abstract Taking Xanthoceras sorbifolia kernel as the research material, the extraction rate, physical and chemical properties and fatty acid composition of Xanthoceras sorbifolia oil were compared under different extraction methods, finally, the subcritical extraction method was established as a green, high-efficiency and low-cost extraction scheme of Xanthoceras sorbifolia oil. The results showed that the acid value of Xanthoceras sorbifolia oil extracted by subcritical extraction was only 0.34. Ten kinds of fatty acids were detected in Xanthoceras sorbifolia oil extracted by different methods, among which the content of neural acid in Xanthoceras sorbifolia oil extracted by sub-critical extraction was the highest (3.29%) . The effects of extraction temperature, extraction time, extraction pressure and extraction times on the extraction yield of oil by subcritical extraction were studied by single factor experiment, the optimum extraction parameters of Xanthoceras sorbifolia oil were determined as follows: extraction temperature 45 ℃, Extraction Pressure 1.1 MPa, extraction time 40 min, Extraction Times 2, extraction rate 96.7% .
