Abstract In order to improve the grouting reinforcement effect of water prevention and control in coal mines, improve the performance of grouting materials, reduce the cost of grouting materials, and find a new way for the high-value comprehensive utilization of industrial solid waste at the same time, through a large number of laboratory experiments, this paper finally determined to use granulated blast furnace slag as the main raw material, desulfurization gypsum, cement clinker and admixture as auxiliary materials, developed a slag-based grouting material. By cross-comparing with slag cement for grouting, the physical properties of slag-based grouting material in fluidity, relative viscosity, slurry sedimentation rate, solidification state and mechanical properties were analyzed. The study provided a theoretical basis for the application of slag-based grouting materials in water prevention and control projects.
