| Study on the Middle Infrared Spectroscopy of the Radix Stephaniae Tetrandrae Structure |

Abstract The radix stephaniae tetrandrae structure was studied by MIR spectroscopy (including one-dimensional MIR spectroscopy, second-order derivative MIR spectroscopy, fourth-order derivative MIR spectroscopy and deconvolution MIR spectroscopy). The experiment found that the infrared absorption modes of radix stephaniae tetrandrae structure mainly included: νasCH3-radix stephaniae tetrandrae, νasCH2-radix stephaniae tetrandrae, νsCH3-radix stephaniae tetrandrae, νsCH2-radix stephaniae tetrandrae, νC=O-radix stephaniae tetrandrae, νC=C-radix stephaniae tetrandrae, δ■, δasCH3-radix stephaniae tetrandrae, δsCH3-radix stephaniae tetrandrae and νC-O-radix stephaniae tetrandrae. It was found that the deconvolution MIR spectra of radix stephaniae tetrandrae molecules had better spectral resolution than the corresponding one-dimensional MIR spectra, second-order derivative MIR spectra and fourth-order derivative MIR spectra. This study expanded the research scope of MIR spectroscopy in the molecular structure of important traditional chinese medicine (radix stephaniae tetrandrae).
