Abstract In the pumping test of O2-3 hydrological observation hole in Jiulong Mine of Jizhong Energy Fengfeng Group, the water output was 1.44 m2/h and the water temperature was 25 ℃, which failed to meet the requirements of the mine, because the traditional method of cleaning well with hexametaphosphate sodium adding piston was poor. In view of this situation, it was decided to use dilute hydrochloric acid to clean well again. After well cleaning with hydrochloric acid soaking, the water output increased to 5.4 m2/h, and the water temperature increased from the original 25 ℃ to 33 ℃, which achieved good results and met the requirements of the mine. The application achieved the purpose of the pumping.
