Abstract Compared with the working face mining, conventional cantilever tunneling machine tunneling efficiency is relatively low, easy to cause tension mining replacement. Therefore, taking the 81203 working face of Huayang No.2 Mine as the engineering background, the research on the rapid excavation equipment and key technologies of coal roadway is carried out. On the basis of comparative analysis of China 's commonly used coal roadway rapid excavation equipment matching units, it is determined to use the integrated machine for rapid excavation. The field application shows that the integrated machine realizes the integrated operation of tunneling, transportation and support, improves the tunneling speed, improves the working environment, improves the safety and ensures the normal production of the mine.
