Abstract In order to investigate the treatment effect of homogeneous catalytic wet oxidation technology on high concentration organic wastewater, in this paper, this technology was used to treat high concentration organic industrial wastewater such as landfill leachate high concentration wastewater, cyclohexanedione wastewater and acrylic acid wastewater in the actual project. The effects of reaction temperature, reaction time, oxygen amount and catalyst amount on the actual treatment effect were investigated. The optimum treatment process parameters were determined: reaction temperature 260 ℃, reaction time 2 h, oxygen dosage 1.2 times of theoretical dosage and catalyst dosage 500 mg / L. Under the corresponding process conditions, the removal rates of COD and TOC of the treated wastewater are more than 82%, and the biodegradability has been significantly improved. The results show that homogeneous catalytic wet oxidation technology has good engineering feasibility and application value for high concentration organic wastewater.
