Abstract The gangue filling mining technology can effectively solve the problem of ' three under ' coal and protect the surrounding environment of the mining area. Taking No.11235 Face of Xingdong Mine as the engineering background, the influencing factors of filling effect was analyzed, the mechanical equipment and filling technology was improved and the gangue filling mining scheme was finally formulated and used in No.11235 Face. The practice showed that the filling effect was good, the roof integrity of the working face was improved, the surface subsidence caused by goaf caving was effectively prevented, and the coordinated mining of coal resources and environment was realized.
