Abstract Given the failure mechanism of the adjacent cavern group of the underground yard in the expansion area of Wuyang Mine, to analyze the roadway deformation characteristics under deep complex geological conditions, and the initial support scheme is evaluated and analyzed. By using numerical simulation and theoretical research, combined with the actual situation of the site, proposed the grouting anchorage integrated reinforcement technology to repair the secondary support of the severely damaged roadway. The field test shows that after the reinforcement support scheme is adopted, in the broken roadway, a large range of compression arches formed, the roof and floor deformation period are shortened, the maximum convergence is controlled within 120 ~ 140 mm, and the deformation is significantly reduced, which avoids the secondary renovation of cavern and roadway, and realizes the effective control of roadway surrounding rock.
