Abstract According to the top and bottom plate of No.9+10 coal seam of Jingu Coal Industry, the surrounding rock of 10904 working face roadway belongs to rigid rock and hard top plate. When supporting the roadway, attentions should be paid to the structure and organization of rigid rock, the pore type of rigid rock and the elasticity of rigid rock, and the support separately for different geological conditions, which can effectively improve the mining speed and reduce the support cost.
