In view of the problem that the conventional support method cannot meet the design requirements when the large section roadway passing through the collapsed column, based on the control of the water output of the trap column, the method of "anchor net cable + U-shaped steel shed" combined support was proposed to reinforce the roadway surrounding rock in the fractured area firstly, and then the slurry anchor cable reinforcement was proposed. The field observation showed that the roadway surrounding rock in the fractured area was effectively controlled, and the deformation of roadway surface was obviously reduced, which achieved a better support effect.
