Abstract The 81401 working face of Yangquan Mine was taken as a test site, a comprehensive research method of data collection was adopted o study the range of overburden deformation damage in the 81401 working face of Yangmei Mine, with similar material simulation, and field test (physical exploration and drilling), and the height of the water-conducting fissure zone of No. 15 coal seam was analyzed to provide a basis for the safe recovery of the mine.
