Abstract For the long time, unstable and inaccurate pressure shortcomings of the gas pressure method to determine the gas emission radius, he drilling chip gas desorption index method Δh2 was adopted to determine the effective emission radius of the borehole of 11010 working face of Yunding Mining Industry, the parameters of the designed borehole and the criteria for determining the emission radius of the borehole were introduced, the gas emission radius of different emission times were analyzed, with good reference for other coal mines to determine the emission radius.
