Abstract In the actual operation of the boiler unit of coal to ethylene glycol system, there are heat loss phenomena such as steam venting and exhaust of lack of steam, resulting in the waste of system energy and part of the water (condensate efflux). The heat recovery methods for coal to ethylene glycol system, including waste heat power generation, waste heat power refrigeration, recoveny of deaerator steam exhaust, waste heat heating or tracing heat, etc. were mainly introduced. It is proposed that the above methods are used for, to maximize resources and energy utilization, reducing the production cost of the project.
