In response to the problem of severe deformation of the surrounding rocks and the difficulty of support, the main factors affecting the stability of the surrounding rocks were ground stress, the strength of the surrounding rocks and the chemical composition of the surrounding rocks, which were identified through field investigation. Practice showed that the program support effect achieved the expected support requirements, ensuring the smooth progress of mining.
