Abstract There were 4 sets of clean coal filter presses and 4 sets of tail coal filter presses in Jiangzhuang Mine Coal Preparation Plant, which were arranged in flotation plant and tail coal plant respectively. At least 2 people needed to work together to complete the work, with large amount of work, high accuracy. Through automatic control design and application, automatic monitoring of material level, starting and stopping of transportation equipment and automatic feeding correlation of filter press were realized, which could reduce the workload and number of operators, shorten the time interval of manual operation, reduce the error rate of manual operation and improve the stability rate of equipment operation.
