Abstract Based on the present coal mine gas control and multi-branch horizontal well technology application situation in China, according to the concept of coal and gas in mining, the drilling multi-branch horizontal wells and the coal mine ground connected docking technology was introduced, and combined with Hancheng Zaozhuang coal mining working face actual situation, the project implementation plan was put forward, and the problems in the process of design and construction were pointed out. In the coal mine gas comprehensive management, the implementation of the technology effectively prevented gas outburst in coal mining face in recovery mining, realizing the working face gas drainage in advance, providing reference for coal mine gas control and CBM development and utilization.
