In view of the phenomena of coal wall collapse and local roof leakage caused by geological structure and pre-concentrated stress of working face in No.921103 Face of Dashe Mine, the coal wall of working face was reinforced by grouting. In the early stage, the short wall grouting reinforcement scheme of the coal wall of the working face was adopted, and the grouting material was chemical slurry. However, due to the wide range of the crushing section of the working face, the depth of the large collapse range and the limited amount of chemical slurry grouting, the effect of short wall grouting on the working face could not achieve the effect of strengthening the coal wall. According to this situation, the construction of long distance drilling in the material transport lane of the working face to carry out grouting reinforcement and advance treatment of the coal wall of the working face in advance was studied, and cooperated with the grouting of the short wall of the local broken point of the working face to ensure the strengthening effect of the coal wall of the working face, realized the transformation from passive treatment to active advance prevention, and laid a good foundation for the safe mining of the working face.
