Abstract： This paper took Qinglong mine in Qianxi County, Guizhou Province as the research object. Based on the analysis of hydrogeological conditions in the mining area, the damage of groundwater aquifer caused by coal mining in this area was analyzed through pumping data of the hydrogeological drilling in the area. According to the water quality test data before and after the damage, the water quality of water resources in the area was evaluated, and the possible ecological impact in the area was briefly analyzed. The results showed that coal mining had a serious impact on groundwater aquifer, water resources and ecological environment. Coal mining should actively use new efficient and reasonable mining technology, and strengthen the monitoring of water resources and environment in the area.
