Abstract: During the excavation process of Gaojiazhuang Mine, the thickness of the coal seam became thinner and no coal area was encountered. According to the geological conditions, it was preliminarily judged to be the ancient riverbed scouring zone. In view of this problem, through the combination of geological drilling detection and geological sketching, the spatial position distribution of the erosion zone was determined, which provided a reliable geological basis for the smooth passage of the roadway, and the accuracy of the inference and prediction was verified in practice. Through the judgment and detection of the scouring zone, it provided mature experience for exposing and dealing with the scouring zone, and also provided certain reference for the judgment, detection and corresponding treatment measures of the scouring zone.
