Abstract: In the joint mining area of open pit mines, water outburst and other water damages are mainly caused by the wrong prediction of mine water inflow. In order to avoid potential safety hazards and not affect the mining and production of mines, taking Antaibao open pit mine as an example, this paper used the Aquifertest Bolton method and the Newman method to determine the hydrogeological parameters, and used the “large well method ” to calculate the mine water inflow. The results showed that compared with the traditional research methods, the error of the water inflow estimated by the combination of the Newman method and the large well method was small, which could provide reference for the subsequent mining and construction of deposits. However, due to errors, the suitable information was insufficient for formal calculations of water inflow in mining areas.
