In view of the current situation of large coal dust in the process of pressing ventilation of 22605 fully mechanized working face in Zhenchengdi Mine, the press-in ventilation method was optimized into a hybrid ventilation method. Software ANSYS numerical simulation and field test were adopted, it was concluded that the best ventilation distance was the air duct 25 m away from the heading face and the distance between the downward air duct and the heading face 4 m, with the dust removal efficiency 88.47%,which effectively reduced the concentration of coal dust and safe mining.
