The application of centrifugal air compressor in chemical industry was analyzed, the common fault types in the operation of air compressor and the treatment measures were put forward. Finally, according to the causes of air compressor failure, the preventive measures of centrifugal compressor fault from the aspects of installation, commissioning, maintenance and cleaning were provided.
