With the wide application of coal mine friction hoists, there are more and more friction lifting systems using flat tail ropes as balance ropes. There are some problems to be solved in practical field applications. In response to these problems, combined with the actual work summary, the key points of the replacement and daily maintenance of the flat tail rope of the coal mine friction type lifting system were expounded, which helped to improve the replacement and maintenance level of the flat tail rope and prevent electromechanical accidents.
