The transient electromagnetic method was more adaptable and efficient to construction area, which could distinguish coal mine goaf and solid coal, and had a strong ability to distinguish low resistivity of coal mine. Data processing method of transient electromagnetic was introduced in this paper, ?the voltage profile of transient electromagnetic method and profile of transient electromagnetic apparent resistivity were drawn. The practice showed that ?transient electromagnetic method had good effect on identification of coal mine goaf and filling area.
