Based on Tuanbai Mine in Huozhou area threatened by Ordovician water, 10 - 310 working face in this mine was taking as an example. According to field conditions of pressure mining face and requirements to solve problems, usage and exception validation of two geophysical prospecting methods which were radio wave penetration method and audio frequency electric perspective method were introduced. Radio wave penetration method was used to detect distribution of hidden geological structure in working face and audio frequency electric perspective method was used to detect rich water in coal seams inside and outside of working face. The two methods integrated geophysical prospecting and verified each other to reduce multiple solutions.
