There were many uncertain factors which influenced each other in underground mining, making a great difference in underground safety production. In order to analyze change rule and occurrence characteristic of electromechanical accident during the 15 years, statistic data of electromechanical accident in 23 mines of China were analyzed with the mathematical method of least square fitting. The results showed that the number of casualties and death rate caused by mechanical and electrical accidents was in a downward trend, which could draw a conclusion that measures we took were effective and safety situation of China's coal production was improving constantly.
