The adsorption characteristics of humic acid on attapulgite-based floating filter material ( AFFM ) were studied.There sults show that the adsorption process is more effective at acidic condition; the adsorption process matches the equation of Freundlich comparatively at 25 ℃.The experimental results of adsorption kinetics show that the adsorption process is more consistent with the second order kinetics equation; when consistency of humic acid varies from 2 mg / L to 18 mg / L, the experimental maximum absorption amount of is 8.33 mg / L and the theoretical maximum adsorption amount fitting with Langmuir adsorption isotherm is 9.61 mg / L; the effect of temperature on adsorption is not significant.
