Internal mobile communications of working face, heading end and other temporary construction sites were unable to implement based on effecting factors of transmission distance, power consumption and external power supply in various wireless communication systems of already built or under construction in many coal mines. In order to gurantee fast scheduling of work force in Gushuyuan Mine, improve communication efficiency in temporary construction sites and process of safety production, maintenance work, productive maintenance, and so forth, ZigBee wireless communication system which adapted to the underground mining working face and temporary construction sites was developed. It could work long hours without external electric and build temporary network in a short tome when accidents happened, which provided safe, reliable and stable rescue command functions in underground working face.
