In order to adapt to market demand, the production of low moisture coke, Xiaoyi Jinhui Coking Coal Corporation Ltd. takes advantage of low water coke quenching principle, the conventional wet coke quenching equipment was transformed. On the basis of the existing equipment, the coke quenching spray pipe quantity was increased, at the same time the double pump start stop time to control the amount of water was conducted, with operating process specification. After the completion of the technical transformation，the coke moisture, successful fell from 6% to 9%~10%, coke quenching time shortened from 160 s to 120 s, spray pipe flow increased 1 times above, good economic benefits were obtained, with strong competitiveness.
