Experiment of Ventilation Influencing Goaf Gas Flow Field Distribution

By theoretical analysis, combined laboratory analog simulation with numerical analysis method, smoke as a tracer gas, homemade goaf flow field distribution of the test bench was applied to conduct experimental study of distribution regularity of goaf flow field. The study showed that the distribution of goaf flow field was gradient distribution, can be divided into three areas, strong seepage area border showed parabola shape; main impact on strong seepage area ventilation, the area of gas concentration is lower than the critical range, with the increase of working face length, ventilation influence to the return air roadway gradually reduced nearby goaf, so easy to form gas accumulation, with the loss of the goaf area porosity, the flow field of movement rate reduced. The results of the study goaf gas explosion prevention provided the reference for further research.
