Based on the requirement of improving per unit area yield and tempo made by Shenhua Shendong Mining Group, combined with the actual situation of Cuncaota No. 2 Mine, lean thinking was applied to analyzed the restricted factors from people, machine, environment and management, measures of the basic management, management control and mining technology was put forward, the comprehensive mining improved by 76 000 t per month, mining 136 m per month, equipment failure rate fell by 27%, equipment comprehensive efficiency are increased by 5.94% than the former year,which provided favored conditions for stable mining.
