Based on the actual thickness of water-resisting layer of large typed fault footwall Ordovician limestone top to upper roadway was 16 m, only 3.6 m thicker than safe water-resisting layer, advanced grouting reinforcement to fault footwall ordovician  limestone top was put forward, ordovician limestone top 15 m (vertical interval ) was transformed to water-resisting layer to increase safe water-resisting layer of roadway floor, grouting reinforcement avoided the water burst, ensured the safe mining of the working face, with high practicability, achieved the continuous using of the roadway with small investment, which provided good reference for similar mines.
