Based on large deformation and serious bottom heave problems in Lizhuang Mine with depth of 785 m, located in south Hebei Province, the existing problems of original supporting scheme was analyzed, using numerical simulation optimized the supporting scheme. Industrial field testing and strata behavior regularity analysis showed that the deformation in working slope reduced obviously and bottom heave was controlled effectively. The amount of bottom heave was decreased by 273mm average, which met the mining requirements, the technology provided experience and reference for similar mines.
