Coal inventory related to whether the regional coal supply relationship can get balanced development, ensuring the precision of the data resources, was the basis of inventory management and control of coal mine. Based on coal inventory factors analysis, especially the open-pit coal mine coal quality factors impact was analyzed. From open-pit coal mine coal quality factor for the effect of coal inventory, the numerous influencing factors of coal inventory were put forward, on the basis of this, from the viewpoints of heat, moisture and dust, the effect of coal quality factors for coal inventory was analyzed.
