The analysis method of cobalt in laterite nickel ores was studied by flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry.In the optimal experimental conditions, the linear correlation coefficients were more than 0.999 and the detection limit was 0.047 4 μg/mL,the relative standard deviations were in range of 1.76%~9.47%. The recovery rates were in range of 88.0%~116.7% and the measuring ranges were in range of 0.01%~0.20%.This method is rapidity and sensitivity,could be used for the analysis of cobalt in laterite nickel ores.
