Based on surveying water principle and the characteristics of the coal mine safety production, the coal mine drain distance in advance of the actual implementation was introduced. Combining with Shishang mine deep geology, the high confined water out in detail technical scheme and design was formulated, leaving safety water coal rock pillars distance, and the drain needs preparation work in advance was illustrated. The results showed that saving water-proof coal and rock pillars had a good application effect in sppeeding up plugging water.
