Duanjiabao area geological structure features were analyzed in this thesis. Through analyzing and comparing Xiahuayuan coal-bearing strata, it showed that the overall structure of Duanjiabao area was synclinal structure of axial near east west direction, located in downthrown of section. Coal seam deeply buried in Xihuangzhuang coalfield and the length was expected to 1 800 m. North wing of synclinal structure lifting coal strata was fully denuded, only leaving lower strata of coal strata. Hereby, the suitable place of synclinal structure two wings might be moderate coal seam burial, where it was the favorable area of the coal working.
