In order to improve the yield of lump coal mine, the factors affecting the yield lump systematic of the strength derived coal was studied, geological tectonics, face bearing pressure and other natural factors as well as shearer speed, roller speed, cutting depth, pick arrangement parameters were the main factors affecting the lump coal yield, and on this basis, combining coal field geological conditions of production in Shengxin mine, measures that coal production, transportation, warehousing, the three major aspects were taken to reduce the block coal in many aspects of the loss, the economic effect was significant.
