Abstract The distribution of airflow field in different roadway sections, different airflow velocities and different airflow temperatures was explored by numerical simulation. It is found that the distribution of airflow velocity field in roadway is not affected by temperature. Different wind speeds have a certain influence on the distribution of airflow temperature in trapezoidal roadway and arched roadway, that is, the greater the airflow velocity, the smaller the thickness of the airflow layer at the same temperature ; different roadway cross-section shapes have little effect on the distribution of wind speed. Only a low wind speed area appears at the corner of the roadway, and the distribution of other areas tends to be consistent. However, it has little effect on the distribution of wind flow temperature, except that there is a certain difference at the upper corner of the trapezoidal roadway, and the other areas are basically the same.
