Abstract In view of the tedious process of replacing the main fan grade II motor in the north air shaft of Chensilou Coal Mine, the problems of long time and high labor intensity in the process of disassembly and installation, through the analysis and research of the early construction process, the construction technology was independently innovated and transformed, and a set of best construction scheme was summarized. According to the on-site construction conditions, an off-line auxiliary device is designed by using the structural characteristics of the main fan, which realizes the whole replacement process of the main fan 's rapid off-line and docking. Practice has proved that the application of the offline device greatly improves the work efficiency and reduces the labor intensity of the maintenance personnel.
