Abstract On the basis of summarizing the hydrogeological conditions of Xin 'an coal field, taking the regional control of No.11030 and 11040 Faces in Mengjin Coal Mine as an example, this paper analyzed the necessity of carrying out the ground advanced regional control technology of water disaster, discussed the key technical parameters in the design of regional control and the feasibility of implementation, and provided useful reference experience for carrying out the ground advanced regional control technology of water disaster under similar conditions in other mining areas.
