Abstract In order to solve the problem of large gas emission during the excavation of deep mining area in Wanfeng Coal Mine, it is proposed to use the sequence of roadway construction to carry out the excavation construction by alternately covering the pre-drainage of coal seam gas with the bedding drilling and cross-layer drilling of the coal seam. At the same time, during the construction of the coal roadway, the comprehensive gas outburst prevention measures of ' four in one ' are combined, and the safety construction of the coal roadway is effectively guaranteed by means of the inspection of the extraction effect and the verification of the extraction effect. The successful application of this technology can provide guidance for the technical scheme of comprehensive gas control during the excavation of similar mines.
