Abstract With the rapid development of China's industry, resulting in its SO2 emissions exceeded the standard, Ca(OH)2 is an important functional inorganic powder material, is a good desulfurization agent, in the flue gas dry desulfurization process, due to the small specific surface area of ordinary Ca(OH)2, small pore volume and pore size, resulting in low desulfurization efficiency. Therefore, it is urgent to prepare calcium hydroxide with high activity, high performance and high specific surface area. The dry digestion process has the advantages of simple system, less water consumption and high activity of digestive products, and has become one of the hot spots in the research of absorbent preparation technology in the semi-dry/dry desulfurization process. In recent years, scholars at home and abroad have done a lot of research to improve the lime dry digestion process. By analyzing the subject literature of lime dry digestion process, the experiment of lime dry digestion in recent years from the aspects of time track, research objects, research methods and so were onreviewed and evaluated, and the development status of lime dry digestion were introduced. The deficiency of lime dry digestion research was pointed out, and the corresponding suggestions and prospects for future research were put forward.
